Ice Energy originated in mid-2000 when Andrew Sheldon had a vision of introducing ground and air source heat pumps to the UK domestic heating market resulting in Ice Energy Technologies being at the forefront of developing the heat pump market in the UK. The company has grown to become the country's leading supplier of combined renewable energy solutions provider including ground and air source heat pumps and solar pv to both the domestic and commercial marketplaces.
Harwood Hutton Managing Director John Brace has been closely involved in the development of the business since 2003 providing business advice and strategic guidance and was invited to join the Ice Energy board as a non executive director in 2007.
Harwood Hutton have played a key role in the company's growth and have assisted in raising equity capital culminating in FTSE250 company SIG plc taking a strategic stake in the company in 2010.
Ice Energy's position as a leading renewable energy company was recognised by a return visit to their Oxfordshire HQ by Prime Minster David Cameron in October.
